Mayet’s previous work experience is in the games industry, working as an artist at 2K Sports/Visual Concepts Entertainment in Novato, CA., where she modeled, textured and animated interactive menus and UI using 3D software. Since 2016, the ESMA school has been certified year after year by SideFX, publisher of the famous Houdini software dedicated to 3D animation and special effects. This procedural piece of software makes use of nodes to create breathtaking scenes and VFX. Mayet is currently working as the Associate Program Director of the B.S. Houdini SideFX isn’t very well-known outside of the circle of people already in the VFX industry and Houdini is pretty much their only product. Houdini released in 1996 was essentially a rewrite of Action. Houdini is a fully procedural graphic development system that utilizes node-based workflows to make it. So Houdini has its roots in PRISMS which had its roots as Omnibus’ proprietary CG software. SideFX is most well known for its Houdini software. in Film and Animation from The Academy of Art University in San Francisco, and her B.F.A in 2D Animation and Illustration from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
